The President of Iran is Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Unlike many other countries, in Iran the president does not have full control over the policy and the forces. They are under the control of the Supreme Leader. The President is elected to be president in four years. And the president can not lead for more than two terms in a row. The President was elected in the presidential election in 2005. He was reelected after the Iranian presidential election in 2009.
